50 Pakistani Hindus reached India on February 3 through a 25-day visa. Speaking to reporters, the Hindus said that they reached India to visit Haridwar and their intention is to stay in India forever. Most of the travellers in one voice said that they want to settle down in India forever and they don't want to go back to Pakistan. Some also said that Pakistan is a good place, but the people over there are not the same. This comes at a time when the government of India has decided on the citizenship law, which is being debated and protested over by several across the nation.

Lali, a Pakistan native, said that she is happy for being in "Bharat". "There are many issues in Pakistan, and I have reached India with the intention to live here," she said.

Shri Ram, another Pakistan native, said, "My aim is to live in India. This is my nation, and I don't want to go back to Pakistan."
