NSA Ajit Doval visited the Tablighi event on March 28 night to convince them to call off the event. News is also that the JNU Muslim Student wing has sought that the FIR against the maulana be dropped.
Bengaluru: An FIR has been registered against maulana Saad Kandhalvi, head of a faction of Tablighi Jamaat for organising the event.
While the FIR is filed, the Union health ministry has said that the increase in the number of Covid-19 cases is due to the Tablighi event.
