New Delhi: Former general secretary of the Samajwadi Party, Amar Singh blamed Congress leader and former finance minister P Chidambaram for indiscriminately distributing money and being the root cause of the economy sinking.
In a video, where Amar Singh can be seen lying on a hospital bed, the MP told Rahul Gandhi that P Chidambaram is friends with Videocon CEO and Anil Ambani.
He said, "Rahul ji I suggest to you. Venugopal Dhoot of Videocon and Anil Ambani of Reliance, whom you call Modi's close friend, are the biggest friends of your minister (sic) Chidambaram. I have proof of this. I will make it public the day you say it.”
He further said, "Rahul ji, find out which money has become NPA, the money has been distributed under the UPA-2 regime.”
