Former general secretary of the Samajwadi Party, Amar Singh has made serious allegations against former finance minister P Chidambaram, blaming him for the current economic situation in India. He is seen telling former AICC president Rahul Gandhi on the alleged controversies of Chidambaram. Amar Singh’s video from the hospital is now viral on social media.
New Delhi: Former general secretary of the Samajwadi Party, Amar Singh blamed Congress leader and former finance minister P Chidambaram for indiscriminately distributing money and being the root cause of the economy sinking.
In a video, where Amar Singh can be seen lying on a hospital bed, the MP told Rahul Gandhi that P Chidambaram is friends with Videocon CEO and Anil Ambani.
He said, "Rahul ji I suggest to you. Venugopal Dhoot of Videocon and Anil Ambani of Reliance, whom you call Modi's close friend, are the biggest friends of your minister (sic) Chidambaram. I have proof of this. I will make it public the day you say it.”
He further said, "Rahul ji, find out which money has become NPA, the money has been distributed under the UPA-2 regime.”
