Edappadi Palaniswami assures martyr Subramanian's family of govt job after house visit in Kovilpatti

Kovilpatti: Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami reached G Subramanian's house. Subramanian was travelling in the convoy that was blown up by a suicide bomber on February 14, claiming the lives over 40 CRPF personnel who were on their way to Srinagar. Palaniswami condoled the death of the jawan and announced a compensation of Rs 20 lakh and a government job to one of the family members.

Subramanian was attached to Battalion 82. 28-year-old Subramaniam had joined the forces in 2014 after completing ITI.
