Bengaluru: Two students on Saturday night (May 4) night assaulted a police constable after they were stopped for drunk driving check at Bengaluru's Silk Board junction. The students are identified as Rahul Tripathi and Aditya who had come to Bengaluru for higher studies from Goa.
The two were taken to the HSR Layout police station after the police seized their Royal Enfield bike for drunk driving. Rahul began to abuse the police officers and began to ransack the police station. In a heated argument, Rahul slapped the police constable.
A case has been registered against the duo.
