Delhi turned into Kashmir: Mob vandalizes public property, destroys 6 buses in Shahdara

These visuals are not from Kashmir but from the National capital where a mob vandalised several buses and other public property after a buzz was created that a speedy Honda City car killed 17 Muslims who were returning after Namaz.

The incident took place in Khureji area of Shahdara District. During the dispersal after Namaz, a Honda City car was seen driving rashly near the Muslim devotees. Exactly what happened is still unclear. 

The Cops claimed that no one was injured. Though an FIR was registered, the police have not taken any further action in the case. 

According to the media reports, the accused car driver accelerated and few people started spreading fake news that several Muslims were mowed down. The registration number revealed that the vehicle was stolen from Madhu Vihar on May 30. 

The mob vandalised almost 6 government buses and destroyed other public properties. 

"No casualty has been reported. A case has been registered and police are trying to nab the driver," Meghna Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) told media. 

The cops have not taken any action on the mob who vandalised public properties.
