Cycling for a cause: Ex-Army men attempt to save every drop of water

Vijayawada: The Indian Army carries the nation on its shoulders and protects its motherland and citizens during most difficult times. Two ex-Army jawans have set out on a cycle expedition to raise awareness about saving water and saving lives. Captain Mohit Tomar and Mitish Singh are on a 6,500 km cycle expedition to spread awareness on water conservation and to promote a spirit of adventure among the youth in the country. These jawans started their journey from Mumbai and reached Vijayawada on their route to South China Sea. Vijayawada police commissioner Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, joint commissioner of police Nagendra Kumar, DCP Harshvardhan, DCP Vikranth Patil, Cyber Cell CI Sivaji welcomed the Army men in the city and appreciated their fight for good cause.
