Rewari: India is celebrating Eid-al-Adha with religious fervour. Muslims celebrated the festival by wishing each other peace, harmony in Rewari, Haryana. Community leaders also hailed the Central government’s decision to abolish Article 370.
Dressed in new attire, devotees gathered in great numbers and offered prayers at mosques. They exchanged hugs and wished each other. Former chairman of the Wakf Board in Rewari extended his wishes to people on the occasion. He also hailed the decision to abolish Article 370 and appealed to people to maintain law and order and peace in Jammu and Kashmir. He also spoke about animal sacrifice and urged people to sacrifice only animals which do not hurt the sentiments of other religions.
