China’s secret activities: Why did Modi direct IB to watch the meddling in Ladakh’s monasteries?

PM Modi said that China’s activities should be watched especially at the monasteries along the Indo-Himalayan belt. Modi told Central agencies to collate census data of all border villages for the past five years. He said that this could be done with the use of artificial intelligence and also analytics.
