CAA seminar: ABVP protests following attack by SFI activists in Kerala

Thrissur: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) protested in front of the Kerala secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram for thrashing their members in Thrissur college. A group of SFI students of Kerala Varma College in Thrissur thrashed ABVP workers of the college for organising a seminar supporting Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in the college.

The ABVP workers had reportedly organised a seminar for clarifying the myths surrounding the Citizenship Amendment Act and explaining the details of the Act to the college students. Regarding this,  SFI members dragged their ABVP counterpart from the classroom and attacked them. Two students, who sustained serious injuries, were taken to the hospital. A video has also gone viral in which the students can be seen getting brutally thrashed.
