Thodupuzha: The Kerala Police registered a case against a man in Thodupuzha for allegedly assaulting two boys. The man is identified as Arun Anand, believed to be their step father. The incident occurred on Wednesday night.
The elder of the two boys, a seven-year-old, remains critical with a fractured skull. His lungs were also damaged and he is on life-support at the Kolenchery medical college. The younger child sustained injuries to his chin and teeth.
As per sources, the boys' father passed away seven months ago and their mother was living with Anand. Health minister KK Shyalaja informed that she has directed to ensure expert treatment for the child undergoing treatment.
