Bandipur fire man-made sabotage; can increase human-animal conflict

Bandipur: The forest department officials in Karnataka have been busy the last five days fighting the Bandipur fire. The state chief minister HD Kumaraswamy conducted an aerial survey to assess the damage. Reports suggest that this could be sabotage. Wildlife expert Joseph Hoover, who was in Bandipur all these days, spoke to MyNation to tell us about the impact of this alleged man-made fire on the eco-system and the geographical shift in inhabitation of the animals. He also spoke on how this could be averted in the future.
