Amaravati: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader and Andhra Pradesh IT minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy's relative was robbed on Tuesday (July 3) evening while they were staying in Mani Manjari guest house near Tirumala Balaji temple. The victims reportedly said that the miscreants entered their room and stole about 80 grams of diamonds, Rs 2 lakh cash and a cell phone while the minister's relatives were asleep.
As the victims alerted the Tirupati Police, a dog squad was brought in to arrest the miscreants. The Tirupati Police have registered a case, and an investigation is underway.
