Vijayawada: The legal metrology officials on Wednesday conducted a series of raids across Andhra Pradesh based on the information, which stated that the jewellery store was home to several violations.
According to reports, controller of legal metrology department, E Damodar, said that they received enough evidence pertaining to violation of section 2 of the Advertisement Act, in which false information was being peddled.
The officials also warned the people that they may face legal action if they involve in unregistered deposit schemes with the jewellers.
