TDP leader Uma Yadav was murdered outside his residence with a sickle in Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday (June 25) night. Five accused in connection with the killing surrendered before authorities at Mangalagiri Police Station.
Amaravati: Five accused surrendered before Mangalagiri police after TDP leader and rowdy sheeter Uma Yadav was brutally hacked to death on Tuesday (June 25) night outside his residence with a sickle.
According to reports, the five accused are identified as Saidulu, Thota Srinu, Gopi, Thota and Panaiah. It is also said that two others who are accused in the case are absconding.
Mangalagiri Police suspect that the murder took place over a land dispute. Further reports on the incident are awaited.
