Andhra Pradesh: Class 3 boy found dead with throat slit in hostel bathroom

Krishna (Andhra Pradesh): An eight-year-old boy was found dead on Tuesday (August 6) morning with his throat slit in the bathroom of BC Welfare Hostel in Challapalli, Andhra Pradesh.

According to the police report, the hostel students found the boy, who was studying in Class 3, lying in a pool of blood in the bathroom on the ground floor of the hostel.

Speaking to media, a police officer said, “There are injuries on his neck, a deep gash made with a sharp instrument.”

As per the officers investigating the case, the student’s family had a dispute with some people in the village, and the murder could be an act of revenge.
