Amaravathi: Over 15 people were injured, and two women succumbed to injuries on Wednesday (March 27) when the parapet wall of a building collapsed, minutes ahead of YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy's election rally at Mandapeta in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.
According to reports, more than 20 people were standing on the wall atop the municipal complex when it collapsed.
The injured were shifted to a local hospital in Mandapeta for medical treatment where Reddy paid a visit to check on victims’ health.
