After rumours and speculations, Vijayanagara Congress leader Anand Singh tendered his resignation from the post of MLA in Karnataka. Reacting to this, veteran Congress leader DK Shivakumar has said that he is shocked with this development and is not in a position to believe this. Whereas BJP leader Basavaraj Bommai said that this was an answer to the way the coalition government has been treating the Jindal land deal.
