Bagalkot: Karnataka's former chief minister and Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Siddaramaiah on Thursday (June 27) lashed out at the public while addressing a gathering and questioned why the people decided to elect BJP while the gram panchayat and ration facilities were taken over by the Congress.

This comment by the CLP leader came after Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy was seen slamming the protestors during his 'grama vasavya' (village stay) programme. The chief minister also threatened the protestors by stating that he would ask the cops to lathi charge.
