72-year-old mother pleads for help to look after mentally challenged daughters aged over 50

Gadag: Begum lives with her two differently abled children at Eidgah Complex in Gadag, Karnataka. She is 72 years old and is retired but is worried about the future of her two daughters, Meharunnisa and Nazeemunnisa who are 52 and 50 years old respectively. Her husband Hussein Saab passed away when their elder daughter was four years old. He was employed in the Indian Railways and Begum was given his job after his death. Begum managed to raise her two daughters single-handedly. Now, Begum is retired and at 72 is finding it difficult to manage their daily activities. She seeks help and assurance that her children will be looked after.
