Thiruvananthapuram: 18 children of an orphanage in Thiruvananthapuram were hospitalised due to suspected food poisoning on Friday. The children alleged that they were served contagious food in the orphanage for the last few days.
As per sources, few parents have admitted their children to the orphanage in the hopes that their kids will be provided better food and education. These parents also told media that their children are also brutally beaten by the orphanage authorities often. These parents also stated that will not send back their children to the orphanage.
