Former world chess champion Viswanathan Anand and director Sampath Kumar received the compact disc of the short film Third Eye from the Chennai Police commissioner Viswanathan
Chennai: AK Viswanathan, the Chennai Police commissioner, on Saturday (May 11) released a compact disc of a short film, Third Eye, which explained the importance of installing CCTV cameras. The police commissioner said CCTVs have reduced the work stress to solve certain cases.
He also reiterated that installing CCTVs will ensure safety for all. During the release of the short film, Viswanathan urged people to install them in their houses.
Former world chess champion Viswanathan Anand, who was present at the launch of the short film, expressed happiness and said that CCTV cameras have become a "checkmate" for the criminals.
Anand and director Sampath Kumar received the compact disc from the police commissioner.
