Nikhil Kumaraswamy looks to work from ground up for Lok Sabha with no track record

Nikhil Kumaraswamy wanted to state right off the bat that he earned the Lok Sabha ticket and was not gifted it. The chief minister’s son said that it was the demand of party workers that he must contest from Mandya and added that he doesn’t regret his decisions.

There is a cloud of controversy that surrounds the support to the candidates from Mandya, as his opponent Sumalatha has garnered the support of film stars, producers, members of the BJP and the Congress despite being an independent candidate. Nikhil however seemed unfazed, and said that it is up to them, claiming that he needs no backing of Sandalwood stars.
