Amritsar: People of Amritsar can rejoice as Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh will play a part in coaching budding cricketers at the Amandeep Cricket Ground.
Dr. Shahbaz Singh, General Manager, Amandeep Group of Hospitals, said, “Amandeep Group and Harbhajan Singh have partnered to provide cricket coaching as per international standards and considering the great contribution of Bhajji to cricket, we have renamed our cricket academy as Harbhajan Institute of Cricket.”
He further added, “We are providing cricket coaching to boys as well as girls,” he said, adding that started by Amandeep Group, this lush-green stadium features all the latest cricket coaching facilities and services for emerging cricket players, such as international level coaches, bowling machine, day-to-day performance skills, AC stay rooms, full security arrangements, round-the-clock monitoring and nutritious and lousy meals are available.
The spokesperson further said that the decision taken by Amandeep Group was dedicated to the achievements made by Harbhajan.
