India's victory kept the series alive heading to the fourth Test in Southampton next week

Nottingham: India needed 17 balls on the final day of the third Test to take England's last wicket and wrap up a 203-run win on Wednesday, reducing the deficit in the five-match series to 2-1.

James Anderson (11) was caught by Ajinkya Rahane off the bowling of Ravichandran Ashwin after 10 minutes of play as England was bowled out for 317, having resumed on 311-9. India captain Virat Kohli won the Man-of-the-match award.

India's victory kept the series alive heading to the fourth Test in Southampton next week.

There was free admission for spectators at Trent Bridge for the final day that was always unlikely to last very long.
