Day three at the Asian Games started with 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary winning gold in the men's 10m air pistol event, setting a new record for the category at the Asian Games. Abhishek Verma won bronze in the same event

Palembang: Ace Indian shooter Sanjeev Rajput won silver in men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions in the ongoing Asian Games 2018 on Tuesday. This is India's third silver medal in the ongoing Games and the eighth medal overall. 

Rajput scored a total of 452.7 points. China's Hui Zicheng, who won gold, scored 453.3. Japan's Takayuki Matsumoto bagged bronze with a score of 441.4.

The Indian shooters have been on the mark helping India win six out of their eight medals at the Asian Games so far.
