Nazriya attempted to commit suicide, she was immediately shifted to Ramanathapuram government hospital for medical treatment
Ramanathapuram: Nazriya, a transgender in Tamil Nadu's Ramanathapuram district who works at Ramanathapuram Armed Forces as a guard, attempted to commit suicide on Monday. Nazriya, in her video, alleged that three police personnel had mentally tortured her and passed wrongful comments on her behaviour. Nazriya accused Inspector Muthuramalingam, Senior Writer Parthiban and Sub-inspector Jayasheelan in a recorded video of her suicide attempt.
