Santhosh Thammaiah was arrested for alleged abuse and insult in the name of religion in Kodagu, Karnataka, while he was leading a demonstration against Tipu Jayanti celebrations. Santhosh, along with four people, had allegedly made derogatory comments against the Muslim community. Protesters claimed that those shouting 'Bharat Mata ki jai' are being jailed while those supporting Pakistan are roaming free, celebrating.
