Telangana: Youths thrashed, handed over to police for making anti-India video

Nizamabad: Youths in Morthad in Telangana scripted a video mocking India and praising Pakistan. The youths identified as Mohammed Shafi and Salman are originally from Uttar Pradesh and Sheik Wajid is from Morthad Village in Nizamabad district of Telangana. According to the police, the youths made a meme video by using Amrish Puri’s voice and asked the hostages to chant pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans.    

"The youths made video using Tik-Tok application and later circulated it on WhatsApp. As the video was going viral, the villagers caught and beat them up and later handed them over to the police. The youths work at a local saloon and are believed to have made the video for fun. A case has been registered," said  Suresh, sub-inspector, Nizamabad Police.
