Telangana: Congress leaders meet governor in plea to consider Praja Kutami as single party

The Telangana Congress leaders made a bee-line to visit the governor ESL Narasimhan's office today, ahead of election results to be announced tomorrow. Congress leaders Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Madhu Goud Yakshi and Mohammed Ali Shabbir met the governor and said that they were bringing the pre-poll alliance to the notice of governor.  The leaders seem to have answered the question on whether they fear that the governor will rule in favour of the party attaining the highest number of seats with an opportunity to form a government akin to Karnataka and Goa.
