Karnataka: Teens drown in lake while taking selfie in Tumakuru (Video)

Tumakuru: The craze for selfie claimed three lives in Karnataka's Tumakuru district. 50 students from Siddaganga Pre-University college, as part of the National Service Scheme (NSS) at Davara Hosahalli, decided to clean the temple and lake. The deceased are identified as Poorna Chandra (18), Mohammed Murtaza (17) and Shashank KS (17). According to police reports, Chandra had stepped into the Halenijagal lake in Dobbespet to take a selfie and started drowning. As the other two tried to save him, they drowned too.
