Tamil Nadu woman's chopped hand, legs found: Chennai Police arrest victim's husband

Chennai: Days after the Chennai Police recovered a woman's hand and legs from a dump yard, the police have finally concluded the investigations by identifying the victim. According to reports, the deceased is identified as Sandhya (35) wife of Kollywood assistant director Balakrishnan.

The reports further said that the relationship between the couple went south and a divorce petition was pending in a family court. During the interrogation, Balakrishnan alleged that Sandhya had an extramarital affair and that led to the tragic incident. Currently, the accused is in police custody.
