Thoothukudi: A transgender woman in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi district was killed in front of a temple. The transgender woman was allegedly killed by a man named Marudu early Friday morning.
The transgender woman who worked as a priest in a temple was cleaning the temple premises when Marudu allegedly beheaded her. He later threw her head nearby before fleeing the spot.
Thoothukudi Police are now investigating the matter. The accused is absconding.
