Tamil Nadu: Rs 60 lakh penalty, 3-month jail term for fishermen (Video)

On August 18, 2018, Sri Lankan Navy arrested eight fishermen from Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, for allegedly poaching in the country's waters, according to an official statement. Yesterday, after the hearing, the court ordered Rs 60 lakh penalty for each fisherman and 3-month jail term.
