Tamil Nadu: Barber installs mini library in salon to encourage reading

Thoothukudi: Pon Mariyappa, who runs a salon in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi district, came up with the concept of installing a mini library in his salon. Rather than only keeping newspapers and magazines, Mariyappa wanted to encourage people to read more. Usage of cell phones inside the salon is prohibited. The salon-cum-library offers people a haven for book lovers without any distraction.
