Entry of Sri Lankan woman into Sabarimala was fake news; she failed in her attempt

Pathanamthitta: The Sri Lankan woman reported by a section of the media yesterday to have entered the shrine of Lord Ayyappa has said she was stopped by Kerala Police when she tried to enter the Sabarimala temple in the night of Thursday..

Speaking to media persons, Sasikala said she was blocked by the police even after she showed her medical certificates claiming she had attained menopause. The 46-year-old woman also said that she said had observed 48 days of fasting before offering darshan at the temple.
