Madurai: Just two days after the "mega alliance" of the BJP, AIADMK and the PMK was announced, rumours of the DMK joining hands with the Congress surfaced. Reacting to these rumours was AIADMK's minister Sellur Raja.

The minister stated that Stalin was afraid of losing and hence has been shooting off word in the sky in the last two-three days. "Stalin has lost his sleep after the alliance announcement. He is speaking due to the fear and lack of sleep, nothing else," stated Sellur Raja.

Raja also went on to state that DMK-Congress alliance has only proved to be unyielding in the past and it was because of them that exams such as NEET had been implemented. "That alliance has not given us any benefit. They were the ones who even gave away the island of Katchatheevu to Sri Lanka," added Raja.

The AIADMK minister didn't stop there, he even went on to mention that DMK supremo Kalaignar had also stated in the past that the alliance with the Congress was a bad idea and would never make that mistake again.

An elated Raja snickered, "Now, only Kalaignar can come and ask his son Stalin about the alliance."

Sellur Raja also spoke about the "mega alliance" between the BJP, AIADMK and PMK stating that the DMDK will soon be part of it and talks are ongoing.

He concluded, "The works of the AIADMK and chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswamy have been recognised. What more needs to be said."

The AIADMK announced electoral alliances for the forthcoming general election. The party went on to call it a "mega alliance". However, the DMDK's role in the alliance is still unclear.
