New Delhi: Noted thinker and senior fellow in the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, Abhijit Iyer-Mitra, is a strict believer in LGBTQI rights and is also 'out and proud'.

Iyer-Mitra spoke to MyNation on Thursday and decimated some myths about homosexuality in India. Iyer-Mitra called the judgment “nothing great” and noted that “actual homophobia doesn’t exist in India”. He stirred up the popular narrative of gays being victimised.
