Bengaluru: The 12th edition of the aero show, Aero India, began on Wednesday, a day after the death of Surya Kiran Aerobatics Team (SKAT) wing commander Sahil Gandhi during a rehearsal.
The two aircraft collided mid-air while flying in the mirror image formation on Tuesday.
Speaking to MyNation Union minister Sadananda Gowda said that it was a tragic incident ahead of the spectacular opening of Aero show.
