Sabarimala: BJP, CPM workers’ houses attacked in Pathanamthitta; 55 people arrested

Pathanamthitta: At least 50 houses belonging to the BJP and CPI(M) workers, were attacked in Pathanamthitta on Thursday night, due to the ongoing row over the entry of women into the Sabarimala temple in Kerala. Around 10 shops belonging to the two parties’ activists were also attacked. Some miscreants have also damaged vehicles parked outside the houses. According to reports, 55 people have been arrested in connection with the violence in different parts of Pathanamthitta district.
