RPF constable saves Bengaluru man from train accident

A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable, who was on duty, rescued an elderly man from coming under the wheels of a train at the Hospet railway station in Karnataka. The 55-year-old man identified as Gourav had boarded the 56910 KSR train in Hospet and was to go to Bengaluru. But as he boarded the slow moving train, he slipped and fell in between the platform and the tracks. Immediately constable Harisha noticed it and pulled the man before he came under the wheels of the train. Ajay Kumar Singh, general manager, South Western Railway (SWR) will reward Harisha for his life-saving action.
