Rashmi is India's first humanoid robot being created by 38-year-old Ranchi man Ranjit Srivastava. He is inspired by the world's first robot citizen, Sophia, which was activated in 2015. Hong Kong based Hanson Robotics developed Sophia that uses artificial intelligence, facial and voice recognition, and visual data processing.
