Rajasthan: Mobile internet suspended, new dress code enforced for two-day constable recruitment exam

Jul 16, 2018, 9:24 AM IST

In a move to ensure the smooth conduct and no cheating, candidates were not allowed in full sleeves, earrings or nose rings.

All jewellery and shoes were taken off during frisking. Many male candidates were seen entering the exam centre in a vest. At some places, full sleeve kurta worn by female candidates was cut to half. Some female candidates even had to rush to jewellers shop near their centre to get their earings or noserings removed. The candidates were also not allowed to bring in mobile phones or any other electronic gadget to the exam centre.

It was all because the police department had issued a specific dress code to prevent cheating in the offline exam that was held in four shifts on Saturday and Sunday.
