PM Modi, MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar pay their tributes to late Union minister Ananth Kumar

Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Member of Parliament Rajeev Chandrasekhar and prominent BJP leaders paid their last respects to the late Union minister Ananth Kumar in Bengaluru on Tuesday. 

PM Modi arrived in Bengaluru around 8.30 pm on Monday and visited Kumar's house in Jayanagar, where the mortal remains were kept. He paid his respects and consoled Kumar’s family. 

Chandrasekhar paid his respects at Kumar's residence on Monday as well as at the BJP office on Tuesday. 

Fifty-nine-year-old Kumar died following multi-organ failure at a private hospital in Bengaluru. He was suffering from cancer. His mortal remains will be shifted to the National College grounds for people to pay their last respects and later will be taken to the Chamrajpet crematorium for the final rites.
