After Kerala, it is the Northeast that is facing the wrath of the nature. Several parts of the region are flooded after torrential rainfall pummelled the area. While Assam is completely flooded, Arunachal Pradesh is on the brink of a deluge. Even Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio has asked for help for his state, following which National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams have rushed to assist the local government with relief work.

River Siang in Arunachal Pradesh is flowing above the danger mask, but the question is whether the rest of India cares.
