Protestors from North Karnataka released their state flag and planned to hoist the flag in front of the Suvarna Soudha in Belagavi.
North Karnataka Horata Samiti members said they would try to hoist the flag of North Karnataka in front of the Suvarna Soudha in Belagavi today (31 July). They plan on seeking permission of seers and will also protest against injustice to the region. Samiti president, Bhimappa Gadad told media persons in Belagavi on Monday (30 July) that they would not go ahead with the flag-hoisting ceremony if the seers opposed it.
