In this exclusive interview, director of Vivekananda International Foundation Arvind Gupta explains to defence affairs commentator Nitin A Gokhale how a section of the media quoted Ajit Doval out of context, made up a Kashmir story and blew it out of proportion whereas the NSA spoke largely about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

In this exclusive interview with defence affairs commentator , director of Vivekananda International Foundation  says that, during a recent launch of a book at the premises of his institution, National Security Adviser Ajit Doval spoke largely about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's contribution in building a united India by making the hundreds of princely states merge into the Union. Gupta recalls that the status of Jammu and Kashmir found a mere passing mention somewhere in the middle of the speech. However, the VIF head says, a section of the media quoted the NSA out of context, made up a Kashmir story and blew it out of proportion.
