Minor girl stabbed with machete, killed by uncle

A minor girl, who was stabbed by her uncle, died on the spot near Gangadharpur in Doddaballapur, in the outskirts of Bengaluru. The 16-year-old girl was on her way for tuitions, when her uncle Naveen approached her and proposed to her. When she refused to accept his proposal, he stabbed her with machete and killed her on the road. The victim was the resident of Basaveshwara. Sources say that the girl's parents had advised her uncle against his intentions about marrying the girl. Dodaballapur police have visited the place and have filed a case in this regard.
