Hyderabad: In a second brutal murder in Attapur this month, a man was hacked to death on Wednesday night. The victim is identified as Shakir Qureshi, 35, an autorickshaw driver. The incident occurred near Madina when Mohammed Abdul Kaja attacked Qureshi with a butcher's knife. Hundreds of passersby looked on and recorded the video, but nobody dared to help Qureshi. Surprisingly, some policemen can be seen standing meters away from the spot but none except one traffic cop came forward to help Qureshi. But soon, he was also threatened by Kaja with knife and he too left the place. Kaja, 30, is in custody and did not even resist arrest. Qureshi is said to have given the auto on rent for Kaja, but the latter is said to have given it to someone else causing a rift between the two. Qureshi was also a butcher and had the knife with him, which Kaja snatched and attacked him allegedly for abusing his family members.
