Man attacks mother and sister over property in Tamil Nadu

Chennai: In a tragic incident, 53-year-old son Devaraj attempted to kill his mother Muthamma (77) because she refused to hand over her property to him. His son attacked Muthamma, who was accompanied by her daughter Vijayalakshmi in Tambaram bus stop with a knife.  The mother received a severe injury on her neck. Other people restrained Devaraj in the bus stop and later handed him over to Tambaram police where an attempt to murder case has been registered. The victim was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
